Fit & Sizings
What size am I?
We've adjusted the sizing for every. single. suit. Now, Andie swimsuits are completely true to size. So, if you've sized up in the past, now you can stay true to size for current Andie suits.
- If most of your clothes are a 00—0, you should order an XS
- If most of your clothes are a 2—4, you should order a S
- If most of your clothes are a 6—8, you should order a M
- If most of your clothes are a 10—12, you should order a L
- If most of your clothes are a 14—16, you should order an XL
- If most of your clothes are an 18—20, you should order an XXL
If most of your clothes are a 22—24, you should order an XXXL
- Our specialized lining is a hold-you-in weave. It will be snug, but not uncomfortably tight.
- We suggest sizing up if you are a D cup or above for bikini tops
- If you are 5'8" or taller, size up in one-pieces or select Long Torso fit (available in our best-sellers, black only. More colors and styles coming in long torso soon!)
Still not sure? Contact our fit experts by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I talk to an Andie fit expert?
Of course! We’ll connect you—email us any time at email@example.com.
Do your suits fit better on long or short torsos?
The high-quality spandex and nylon blend that we use is very stretchy and breathable. We suggest trying a size up if you have a long torso. Shipping is on us, so feel free to try a few sizes and return what doesn’t fit!
Swimsuit Care & Details
How do I care for my swimsuit?
Rinse in cold water: immediately after wearing, this removes some chlorine, saltwater, sunscreen and/or natural body oils.
Hand wash: That’s best practice, though we occasionally toss it in the washing machine on cold (just don't put it in the dryer!)
Lay flat to dry: Hang drying can stretch out your suit. Laying flat gives the spandex and nylon a chance to reshape.
Rotate your suits: Throw on another Andie while your recently used suit dries completely and regains its original shape.
Pro tip: For super-suit longevity, pre-rinse your Andie in fresh water. Salt, chlorine, and other particles cling to dry suits, so jumping in some clean water before your day at the beach/pool/park can help maintain swimsuit fibers.
Tell me more about the swimsuit materials and construction.
Our fabric is a high-quality blend of 18% spandex and 82% nylon, designed to be chlorine-resistant, durable, non-pilling, quick-drying, and breathable. All of our suits are lined with a nylon-spandex blend for extra comfort and durability.
Where are Andie swimsuits made?
Our suits are manufactured at the world’s leading swimwear factories around the world. Some of our pieces are made at a factory in downtown LA, others are manufactured in China. We work with factories in Asia that have both decades of experience making the best swimwear in the world and are working towards environmental practices that will make them 100% green factories by 2020. Our product is made to luxury standards with high-end finishes and only the highest quality fabric. Our factories support ethical and fair labor practices. Our makers work in good conditions, in sun-drenched and spacious rooms and they have competitive wages, paid time off, and sick leave. We ensure the environmental initiatives and working conditions by having multiple surprise inspections by third party regulators each year.
What quality control is done for items that are back?
We inspect all suits for signs of wear or damage and we replace the hygienic liner between each customer. (At department stores, the same hygienic liner is often used through many try-ons.)
How long will it take to receive my swimsuit?
