How long does it take to ship?

All purchases are processed in the order in which they are received. After processing your product is filled with Polyfoam, packaged, and shipped via FedEx Ground. Where do you ship?

We ship to all places within the contiguous U.S. We typically use FedEx shipping carriers. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APOs.

In order to provide a “free shipping “ shopping experience, our products are vacuum sealed to approximately 1/8 their original size. This also ensures that your CordaRoy's product is completely protected during the shipping process. Please unbox your compressed foam product as soon as possible. Polyfoam will ALWAY re-fluff, but may take a bit longer if left compressed for several weeks. Once the product is unboxed, be sure to loosen foam clumps and allow up to 7 days for total expansion. 1) Unroll bed and dispose of plastic. 2) Allow bed to expand on its on or speed up the expansion process by loosening foam by hand. 3) Once all clumps are loosened place bed inside cover, fluff and enjoy!

-Send an email to with the subject "booster pack".
    -Include your original order number.
-Include at least 1 photo of your chair with an adult seated to show amount of polyfoam needed.
-Don't forget to use a paperclip to open the child-safe zipper on your inner liner. NO PLIERS.

    Can I wash the cover?

It's always best to read the wash label but currently all of our covers are safe for machine wash/dry.

    Is assembly required?

Your product will arrive vacuum packed. Simply remove the bed from the plastic and place the bed inside the chair cover. Fluff to loosen and activate the foam. It may appear flat at first but give it some time to fully expand.

The lumps that you are feeling is the foam that has been compressed, due to the nature of our packaging. It will break apart, it just needs a little help. Continue massaging the lumps, and scrub them into each other as the friction this causes will help them separate a bit easier. You'll do this from outside the fabric, you won't have to go inside, to get to the loose foam. Over the next few days, with normal use, it will continue to break down, and become softer. Once all the clumps are broken apart, it can take up to 7 days for it to fully expand.

Feel free to start using it at any time. Enjoy!

If you feel that it's not what you expected, don't panic. Just contact us for easy, free help. We will NEVER leave you hanging -

    Is the foam safe?

Yes. This is not the "tiny white beads" that kids inhale and choke on. This is polyurethane foam - the same foam that a pole vaulter falls on but ours is cut into randomly shaped pieces. We also use high-quality, child-safe zippers on our inner liners which lock the zippers in the closed position for child safety. Adults can still gain access to the foam if needed by simply using a paperclip in place of the zipper handle.

    Our foam is environmentally friendly:

    ✓ Made without ozone depleters

✓ Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants

✓ Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals

    ✓ Made without formaldehyde

✓ Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission

✓ Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)

Can I wash the inner bed?

Like most mattresses, CordaRoy's beds will not fit into your washer so it's important to protect them with a CordaRoy's Bed Protector or your own sheets. Your Polyfoam should always be protected from moisture.

How comfortable is the inner bed?
    • More comfortable than an airbed and will never go flat on you in the middle of the night.
    • More comfortable than a pull-out sofa and you'll never have to feel a metal bar digging into your back.
    • More comfortable than a futon.
    • A LOT more comfortable than the floor!
    • Not as comfortable as a Tempurpedic mattress.

While our beds are meant for temporary use, there have been countless testimonials over the past 20 years from customers who have used them for months or even years as their permanent beds.

Tips for making your inner bed more comfortable

When the bed is deployed it is full of air and very fluffy. This is fun for playing but if you dive right in for a night's sleep you'll find yourself in a "trench" of fluff.

To remove the "fluff" and prepare your bed for sleeping, evenly distribute the foam and allow the bed to lie flat for as long as possible before use. This allows the air to seep out and the foam to lock together making for a more solid sleeping surface. Use a couple of thick quilts or blankets as a base to make it even more comfy. To speed up the process you may also use the "human rolling pin" technique. Simply stretch your body out on one end of the bed and roll to the other side a few times. Try it! You'll dig it!

    Common uses

Vacation homes, basements, lofts, theater rooms, pregnancy chairs, autism therapy, sensory therapy, guest bed, gaming chair, kid's, dorms, designer accents, sleepovers.

    Adding/Removing foam stuffing

As with all beds, some people prefer a firm feel and some prefer a softer feel. We find that kids like their CordaRoys soft and adults tend to prefer firm. For this reason, CordaRoy's products are completely adjustable.

Our liners feature a high-quality, YKK zipper with a locking slider for child safety.

This zipper can be accessed by an adult by simply using a paperclip as shown here. UNLOCK ZIPPER

Please refer to the Polyfoam Stuffing section of this page for more details.

To remove foam, simply unzip your liner and scoop out the desired amount of foam. You may want to save it for future use.

  • Product Care

CordaRoy's convertible furniture and pet beds are made by using only 3 parts and designed to last forever - outer cover, inner liner, polyfoam fill.

Outer Cover: Most CordaRoy's outer covers are safe for machine washing and drying. Check the small white care tag on the inside of the cover for specific instructions. It's at one end of the zipper on the interior of the cover.

Inner Liner: Spot clean only with water and mild soap if necessary. Like most beds, your CordaRoy's bed will not fit in the washing machine so it's important that you protect it. You can certainly use your own sheets/blankets for protection but our Bed Protectors provide you with water proof protection on both sides of your bed while allowing air to escape through the side panels. We highly recommend that you purchase a bed protector since our products last for several lifetimes.

Foam Fill: CordaRoy's uses high-quality, shredded, furniture-grade, polyurethane foam in all of its foam-filled products. A simple "fluff" will usually make it as good as new but if you ever need to replace it or simply add more you can purchase it here on the CordaRoy's website. Purchase more foam.

If your torso is 30” or over, we recommend trying a long torso fit.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure the length of your torso from your shoulder (where a bra strap typically lands) to between your legs (where the inseam of your pant legs meet)

Some women know that they have a long torso because one piece swimsuits tend to ride up or dig into the shoulders, or even feel too deeply scooped in the bust. If you are often adjusting the length of the suit (tugging and shifting) you may be a long torso fit!
