Harper Wilde's FAQs

  • Returns and Exchanges

    What is your return policy?

We don't ask for much. Bras must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered with the tags still on to exchange or receive a refund. You have 30 days to exchange your bra or get a full refund on your original form of payment. For returns made after 30 days, you’ll receive store credit in the form of a gift card. We can’t accept any returns after 45 days.
Gift returns will only be returnable for store credit. The gift giver will not be notified of your return.
    Gift cards are nonrefundable.
If you purchase a Bundle and return individual items, you’ll be charged the original retail price for the items you keep. Your refund will reflect the difference.

How long does it take to process a return?

Not the perfect fit? Sorry we let your boobs down. Follow the steps below to place a return:
We've made processing your return a quick and easy process:
STEP 01: To complete your return or exchange, go to returns.harperwilde.com. For partial Bundle returns, email help@shopbzr.com with the details from Step 02.
STEP 02: Input your 5 digit Order Number and shipping zip code. If you can’t locate your Order Number, or your Order Number is longer that 5 digits, please contact our support team. You’ll be prompted to select the items you are returning or exchanging, and to enter a reason why for each item.
STEP 03: Place the bra(s) you’re returning or exchanging back into the Harper Wilde box, or in packaging of your choice. Print a prepaid return label or activate the prepaid USPS label included in your shipment at help@shopbzr.com. Apply that label to the outside of the box.
STEP 04: Drop off the box at your nearest USPS within 30 days of order receipt, and within 7 days of initiating your return or exchange.
*All returned bras must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and have the tags attached.

How do I return a Bundle?

You can return or exchange part or all of your Bundle order. If you return individual items, you’ll be charged the original retail price for those kept items that you keep, and your refund will reflect the difference.
To return or exchange your whole (or part of your) Bundle, please email help@shopbzr.com with your 5 digit Order Number, the items you’re returning or exchanging, and reason(s) why for each.
Returned bras must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and have the tags attached.
  • Sizing and Fit Tips

How do the different styles of bras you offer fit?

    THE MOVE (Sports Bra):
The Move fits true to size. Refer to our sizing chart below to find your sports bra size based on your underwire bra size.
    THE BLISS (Bralette):
We’d recommend sizing up on The Bliss for optimal support. For example, if you’re typically a size 2XL, we’d recommend trying the 3XL. Or, if you’re between sizes 2XL and 3XL, we’d recommend the 3XL.
THE BASE, BOOST AND FLEX (Underwire Bras):
Get in touch with our stylists by sending an email to help@shopbzr.com.

What if I need help finding my size?

We've got you covered. Read our fit tips below! You can also schedule a virtual fitting or shoot us a text message, and one of our stylists will be happy to help you find your best size.
Not sure how your current bra is fitting?
When trying on a bra (a new one, or one you’ve had for awhile), check these 3 things to make sure it’s the right size:

    1. BACKBAND
WILDE FACT: 90% of your bra’s support should come from the backband.
When placed on the loosest hook, your backband should fit firmly around you and sit parallel to the floor (i.e. not riding up your back).
TOO SMALL: If the band is too tight, digs into your flesh or is just uncomfortable, then it's too small.
TOO BIG: If it rides up or if your boobs are falling out of the bottom below the underwire, then your band is too large. If your straps are digging into your shoulders, then your band is likely too big, and not giving you the support you need.
WILDE TIP: You should start on the loosest hook and as the band stretches over time, tighten it to the 2nd and 3rd hooks. This helps your bra last longer, too!
    2. CUPS AND UNDERWIRE
Your boobs have a natural crease line where the underwire should fit comfortably against your ribcage.
TOO SMALL: If your boobs are spilling over the cup, under the cup or out the sides, the cup is too small. If the underwire pokes into the sides of your boobs, the cup is too small.
TOO BIG: If there is a gap between your boob and bra, then the cup is too big. If it digs into your armpits, the cup is too big.
    3. STRAPS
WILDE FACT: Only 10% of your bra’s support should come from the straps.
Your straps should fit snug against your shoulders without digging in or falling off.
If your straps are digging into your shoulders, you probably need a smaller band to give you more support.
If your straps are too loose, try tightening them. Straps stretch out over time.
WILDE TIP: If you find that the straps are falling off your shoulders even when tightened, that’s typically because your shoulders are narrow relative to your breast size. Our bras have a j-hook to allow your bra to become a racerback—wearing your bra this way will ensure that the straps stay put.

How do I know if my bra is fitting correctly?

Here are a few simple tests:

    STOOP, SCOOP, STAND TEST
Stoop - Put on your bra, then bend at the waist at a 90* angle
-Swoop - Reach in the cups and guide your breast tissue from under your pits and into the cup to make sure they are filling out the cup
-Scoop - Lift your boobs up to sit on top of the underwire and not under the bra band
-Stand - Now stand up straight. If your breast tissue is flowing out of the cups, use your fingers to adjust. If after this small adjustment there is still overflow, you should try a cup size that is 1 or 2 sizes larger.

    ARMS UP TEST
Put on your bra, then raise your arms above your head. Are you boobs coming out under the underwire? If yes, then you’re in the wrong size. It sounds like your band size may be too big, or your cup size is too small. Hint: A band that fits properly will not move when you raise your arms.

    STRAP TEST
Put on your bra, then drop the straps off your shoulder. If your bra pretty much stays put where it is, than the band size is correct. If your bra drops (telling you that your straps are doing too much work) than your band size is too big and you need to go down a band size and up a cup size - remember sister sizing.

How will I find my size without being measured in store?

While some companies claim you need a fully-trained bra whisperer to know what fits, we believe that you know your body best and know what feels comfortable. With free shipping and free returns always, we make it easy and bring the power back to you.
Concerned you’ll miss the unsolicited fondling from store sales associates? We didn’t think so!
Know your current fit is just off but don't know where to start? Grab a measuring tape! If you don’t have one, a piece of string and a ruler will do. These measurements will give you a good starting place.
    BAND MEASUREMENT
    1. While looking in a mirror, wrap the measuring tape (or string) around your back and under your boobs around your rib cage. (Hint: You may need to lift your boob up to get an accurate measurement) The tape or string should meet in the center front.
    2. Be sure that the measuring tape or string is totally straight around your body. Take note of this measurement, or make a mark on the string where the end meets the other side, then measure from the end of the string to your mark.
    BUST MEASUREMENT
    3. While looking in the mirror, wrap the measuring tape (or string) around your back and across the fullest part of your boobs, usually right across the center of the nipple. Be sure that the measuring tape or string is totally straight around your body.
    4. Subtract your band measurements (top line of the ‘Band Size Chart’) from your cup measurement. Using the below chart and the difference in inches, determine your cup size.
EXAMPLE - If your band measurement is 36” and your bust measurement is 38”, your recommended size is 36B (because there is a 2” difference between your band measurement and your cup measurement).

Add +4 to your measurement. For example, if your under bust measurement is 32" your band size is 36.

  • Recyling Initiative

    How are bras recycled?

The first step to recycling a bra is separating the hardware from the fabric and foam components. We work with several partners who help us recycle your old bras by disassembling them and giving them a new life. They're made into things like building insulation, couch stuffing, and carpet padding.

How do I participate in your recycling initiative?

So glad you want to participate!
Here are a few easy steps to follow after you've received your Harper Wilde order:
    1. Pull those old bras out of your bra drawer (all bras are accepted, regardless of brand, stains, or unidentifiable smell)
    2. Put them into the Harper Wilde box in which your order arrived
    3. Use your Harper Wilde Order Number to request your prepaid label.
    4. Drop the box off at your local USPS to be shipped our way and our Harper Wilde team will take care of the rest.
If you have not placed an order with us, you may send your bras directly to us at the address below:

In between sizes? Keep in mind that swim fabric expands! If you're in the water A LOT, select the smaller size for a supported, secure fit. If you're more likely to dive into a great book than a pool, choose the larger size for maximum comfort in the sun.

TORSO SIZING

Using a soft measuring tape, measure the length of your torso from your shoulder (where a bra strap typically lands) to between your legs (where the inseam of your pant legs meet). If you are over 30," you might prefer Andie long torso fit.

Some women know they have a long torso because one piece swimsuits tend to ride up or dig into the shoulders, or even feel too deeply scooped in the bust...If you are often adjusting the length of the suit (tugging and shifting) you may be a long torso fit!

Flat

Flat

Compressive lining
Four-way stretch expands to fit your curves comfortably and hug your smallest measurements
Supportive all around, for a secure fit feeling
Expands slightly in water -- great fabric for wearing in and out of water

Ribbed

Ribbed

Compressive lining with self rib that is more expandable
Four way stretch expands to fit your curves comfortably and hug your smallest measurements
Super flattering with texture stripe elongating and lengthening

Eco

Eco

Eco fabric is a blend of 87% Recycled Polyester (made from recycled post-consumer plastic) and 13% Spandex to mimic our Flat fabric's compression, stretch, and handfeel.

Bloom

Bloom

Bloom is a knit jacquard fabric made of 33% Nylon, 57% Polyester, and 10% Spandex, making it more delicate than our Flat and Ribbed fabrications. Bloom fabric will darken when wet, but return to original color after drying. This fabric runs true-to-size, but if you're not sure - stick with a size up.

Terra

Terra

Terra has an abstract, stone-like texture with the comfort and stretch of our classic Flat and Ribbed fabrications. This 97% Polyester, 3% Spandex fabric is double-lined, giving you flattering compression and control.
